Miniature Art

I build miniatures in approximately 1:24 scale, meaning one-half inch is equivalent to one foot in real life. Most of my builds are small enough to fit in a shoe box. For an example, the seat of the chair in the Coffee House below is the size of a penny. I don't measure precisely, because that would add math and subtract fun. I mostly eyeball pieces to see how well they fit. I collect all sorts of things for my builds--twigs from the yard, scraps of styrofoam packaging, q-tips, coffee stirrers, etc. and then repurpose these random "bits and bobs" into the pieces you see here.
